Hello all. I've gotten myself a little stuck and was curious of someone else's opinion. I am looking at upgrading my GPU from a 1080 to a 3080 when they release. I was curious if anyone would mind telling me if I'd be alright just upgrading the GPU alone for now and when I decide to upgrade my CPU if I'll have to upgrade my MOBO as well.

This is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Dkk7Ps

My main problem is I'm wanting to go with an intel core i9 10900X series CPU later on but I'm afraid my motherboard isn't compatible. Would anyone have any suggestions of a motherboard that is under $400 that would work with everything I have now? PC part picker gives me more but they don't have a price available so I figured I'd ask here.

Thanks in advance!

I see no reason to change anything. Certainly there's no compatibility issues for a new GPU.

See CPU compatibility list for your mobo below:

Very nice. I will go ahead and upgrade the GPU but it seems I'll have to find an LGA2066 socket mobo to use the CPU I want but I won't have to worry about that any time soon. Much appreciated!
