Upgrade question

Hello all,

I have a HP 9340 desktop, 8 months old, Vista 64, 6 gigs ram Intel 6700 pros. I am running HDMI cable from 9500gs video card to my HPw2408h monitor. I have major ghosting on all black, the hp guy said maybe run regular cable to monitor maybe that will take ghosting away.

Also, I'm a heavy gamer, BF2 COD, other high end games

Second question is, I have a 8800gts in my other CP, would that be any better then the 9500gs, if not, would one of these be better, if so which

8800gts would be much better than the 9500, although the 9500 is newer card it is not a high end card like the 8800

ok, cant edit, but do you know your PSU as the 8800 would take more power than the 9500

i agree 8800gts is the way forward, stick with that. if you intend to upgrade though, dont waste your money on nvidia, go for ATI, more bang for buck! definately worth the money, where as nvidia your just wasting it.
