[SOLVED] upgrade ram and CPU?

I have a Ryzen 5 3600x and 32gb (2 x 16gb) of 3200mhz ram.... I have a Ryzen 7 5800x and 32gb of 3600mhz ram (4 x 8gb) that I am getting for Christmas. My neighbor is going Ryzen 7000, ddr5 and giving me his stuff cheap. Is it recommended to do one (CPU or ram) at a time or just send it" and change both.... I ask cause its all on a custom water cooled loop and just takes time... Oh and I got a good deal from amazon on another m.2 so im putting that in, no big\ deal on that tho...

There is no reason to not do both at the same time unless you have reason to believe there is a problem with one of them. It would be wise however to first make sure you are up to the latest stable version on BIOS updates.

ok thanks. yeah i just today updated to latest bios on my board.
