Upgrade ram now the pc wont boot

I have an asrock extreme 4 970 motherboard, a gtx 670 gpu, and a 650 watt psu. I recently pruchased this ram OCZ DDR3 PC3-15000 REAPER (Ram and now the computer wont boot and shows error message 54. Is this a compatibility issue?

Could be - what CPU? Might try resetting the CMOS then try the sticks
