Solution
GPUs are very expensive, but the GTX770 is still capable, if soon to drop out of support. Depends on your encoding process whether it uses CPU or GPU.

CPU is capable, but dated. Equivalent to a late model i3, so any i5, i7, i9, Ryzen 5 3600, 5600X, 5800X, etc will be much faster.

Going from a quad core with hyperthreading to a six core, 8 core (or 10 core), 12 core, or 16 core is going to be a vast improvement in CPU output. Should help when scrubbing through videos.

You likely already have DDR4, so you could keep that. Just need a new motherboard and CPU to do the most basic of upgrades. Depends on what you want to spend.

i5-10400 is a good budget processor or Ryzen 5 3600 , B560 or B550 motherboard respectively.
i5-11400 is a step...

i5-11400 is a step up. Ryzen 5 5600X, B560 or B550 motherboard respectively.
i7-11700 or i9-10900F, i5-12600k with DDR4, Z590 will get you PCIe 4.0 with the 11th gen chip, Z490/Z590 with the 10th gen chip will limit you to PCIe 3.0 and one M.2 slot will be inactive. Ryzen 7 5800x, or even the older 3700X isn't bad.
More expensive options.
i7-12700k with DDR5
Ryzen 9 5900X 12 core, maybe take a look at the i9-12900k as well.
Ryzen 9 5950x 16 core ($750)

Solution
Your strongest upgrade on your motherboard is likely a i7-7700K, but that is not a significant upgrade.
Your i7-6700K has 8 processing threads which is what your video apps are likely to depend on.
The passmark rating is 8954. That is when all threads are fully busy.
The single thread rating is 2523. That is more important for games and desktop quickness.
The I7-7700k also has 8 threads and a rating of 9689/2745.

What is your budget?
I would highly suggest the $320 i5-12600K processor with 16 threads and a rating of 24464/4048.
You will need a Z690 based DDR4 motherboard which may be $200.
You can reuse your ram. DDR5 is more expensive, and currently is not significantly faster.
