I had my Pc for about 3 years now,
i5 7600k
be quiet pure rock slim cpu cooler
Asrock z170 Extreme 4
8GB 2400mhz 2x4GB upgraded to 16GB 2400mhz 4x4GB
1TB HDD upgraded to 500GB nvme SSD
the 1TB HDD serves me as mass storage for games I don't play often
EVGA Supernova G2 650w PSU
GTX 1050 ti upgraded to rx 580 4gb then sold the rx 580 for double for what i got it for and upgraded to a GTX 1660 Super
Currently running a 1080p 75hz monitor and a 900p 75hz monitor
I am wanting to choose between a 1080p 240hz monitor or a 1440p 144/165hz monitor however not many games I play hit 240fps (mainly apex legends and i average about 120-150fps.
What cheapest upgrade can I get to achieve a higher framerate? How much of a difference would getting an i7 7700k make?
