I thinking In change my monitor from 1080p 240hz (acer predator) to 3440x1440p 120hz OC (Alienware 3418) and I have in my system a rtx 2070, for sure I need power to move the new resolution, do you think its enough with an rtx 2080 super?

Solution
Potentially upgrading from a RTX 2070 to a RTX 2080 Super is not enough of a performance boost. Either invest in a 2080 Ti, or wait for Nvidia's Ampere architecture in 5 or 6 months.

Addendum: Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti Super is being announced next month at CES. If you have the $1,000 for the current Ti, then you might as well wait for the 2080 Ti Super announcement: Jan 7 - 10
