Hello,

Thank you in advance for any help.

Question is this: I would like to know what possible avenue I would have to upgrade my current system. It is mostly a gaming pc and with games like Battlefield 3 and The Old Republic coming out I wanted to know what I could basically upgrade without redoing the whole system. I don't want to have to buy a new mobo and then have to get different RAM and a new CPU. I'd like to keep the upgrade under $200 total.

Currently I have:

GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-UD4H

AMD Phenom II X3 720 - Overclocked to 3.1 ghz & unlocked 4th core
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103649

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB)

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006

SAPPHIRE 100315L Radeon HD 6850 1GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102908

What is a more feasible upgrade for my system? Another 6850, perhaps a AMD 970 or similar cpu, more RAM, or really nothing at all until I go with the full upgrade and get a new cpu/mobo/ram package.

I am running my monitor at 1680x1050 and have Vista 64 bit with a 7200 rpm WD hard drive for additional info.

Thank you for any input.

Yeah, you are correct. BC2 does run pretty well. I guess I was more concerned that BF3 visually seems a bit more demanding. I guess I should just wait and see. Thank you for your input.
