Upgrade single to duel core

hi, I have a acer aspire t180 desktop,running with a amd sempron processor 3500+ 2.00ghz .
I would like to upgrade to duel core ,any help would be greatfull thanks ,david

well from what I can see no-one has tried one in that model of pc so it may not work.

according to foxconn, the boards support any am2 processor. download cpuz and tell us the exact make of the motherboard.
