Upgrade suggestion

I am using a gigabyte G8N quad royal board with 1GB (2x512) of OCZ DDR2 @ 4200 (3.0-2-2-8) - not clocked.

I wish to upgrade the ram however similar ram is very pricey. Is it possible to upgrade say by adding another 533 to those already in place at (3-3-3-10) without losing performance or should I jack the current ramand just buy 2gb new sticks maybe at a hight cas rating.

Oh main use is video editing.

I'd go for whatever you can find on sale. 2 1 gig sticks will run you around $70 for pc6400.
