[SOLVED] Upgrade suggestions for system with Ryzen 3 2300X / RX 560?

*** specs **

AMD Ryzen 3 2300X (4C / 4T) / Asrock A320M-HDV R4.0 (bios 2.00 2019/4/17) / 16GB (2 X 8GB) @ 2666 Mhz / 1TB HDD / RX 560

display: Vizio E190VA 19" 720p TV

Current game played: War Thunder
Goals: To play modern games, such as CoD MW and Cold War @ 1080p resolution.
Budget: He stated that he'd be willing to invest $200 - $250 into CPU and $300 - $350 into GPU.

What I think he should do:

upgrade from ryzen 3 2300x to ryzen 5 3600 (once price lowers to $150 usd on amazon). This would require several BIOS updates: https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/A320M-HDV R4.0/index.asp#BIOS
upgrade from 1TB HDD to SSD (Either Adata 8200 Pro ($130) or Intel 665p ($100)
purchase AOC 24G2 ($180). It's 1080p / 144 Hz / IPS / freesync / g-sync compatible. Possibly make 720p TV into secondary display.
upgrade GPU, although I'm not sure to what. Perhaps from RX-560 to GTX 1660 super, but I'd like input on this as well ($240)
