Hey guys i have had this computer for roughly 2 to 3 years and now it is lagging behind i believe. I was curious as to what you guys think i should upgrade or if i should just wait. I also want to mention the ram and power supply are not the exact model but are the same wattage and memory/memory-speed. I am willing to spend around $1350 on new parts.

my components are:

am3 is obsolete, and the 7990 is weak

time for a new build

Hey guys thanks for all of the help so far. I am willing to spend around $1350 on parts but am unsure which ones you guys think i should go for.

the next gen gpu's are coming soon

wait till release then come back and we can help you build a gaming rig

Yea, GPU's are supposed going to be released in July, but if you want it now it is also possible.

What is your exact PSU? This build is considering you need everything new except OS and Case:

If you do not need storage (you will use your old SSD and HDD), drop the money there and use it for either the 8700k or more RAM. If you do not have an SSD but have a HDD, pick up the SSD here and drop the HDD. If your PSU is of the same caliber as here, drop the PSU here and use the money for a case if you need one or a better GPU.
