I am upgrading my PC due to age and starting to get motherboard failures in the usb ports. I was looking to get Intel at first but then was pointed over to Ryzen.

About two weeks is my purchase window with a budget about 1200 range and not buying a new monitor at the moment.

I am in the Denver, Colorado area so I have access to Microcenter itself. I also use Newegg for pc purchases and if need be as a last resort Amazon (their shipping for me is problematic).

The PC that I want to build is for high level gaming and doing 3d Cam/Cad modeling. Overclocking will not be used at the moment but still is an option if the Price is Right. Also, dont need a case because I already bought it, the Graphite Series 760T Corsair So I wanted to go and buy either the 2700X or the 2600X. With that I love the Gigabyte motherboard I am using and would like the same brand as before. Looking to do 16gb to 32 gb memory G. Skill (if a better manufacture is out there please say so) for the initial build but will be looking to do the full 64 later due to cost constraints. For the OS, and yes I will have to buy a copy, I want to put it on a SSD Samsung or similar quality of drive. I already bought a newer 4 Tb HDD in the past 3 months so I am still good on space. I was looking for a fully wire modifiable power supply, and a 1080 or 1060Nvidia Gigabyte Video card.

32gb ram will be an extra 160, if you value that more than your gpu then you could drop to a 1060 and upgrade the ram.
Also buying a b350 board will save you some money, however it might not be updaed to ryzen 2 bios. You'll have to check with the vendor, or ask amd for an upgrade kit.
