Hey guys. Some months ago I got me the MSI R9 390, which is simply stunning. It's a good overclocker , and despite my terrible airflow it still never exceeds 82 degrees celsius, which is fine. Thing is , a friend is willing to lift it off my hands for 230 euros . I could then buy the gtx 1060 for 300 euros , which is about 9% faster I believe. But it will be a simple GIGABYTE model, no OC version or anything . The biggest advantage is obviously the power consumption difference.
Still, I am uncertain. My 390 is a premium model card while the GIGABYTE 1060 will be an average card ( regarding build quality ). What would you guys say?

The 1060 is the 6GB model (GV-N1060WF2OC-6GD)

Personally, I would say that the upgrade would be worth it, and I believe you could add a slight overclock onto the card via MSI Afterburner or some other GPU overclocking software.

And with 6GB of GDDR5 RAM, that would definitely be worth it!

Technically, you'll be getting 9% better performance for just 70 euros.
