Hi my name is Andrea and at the moment I play on a 27" 1080p IPS lg monitor using a single gtx 980 (I know the 970 has a better money/fps ratio).
I feel like it's time to buy a new monitor(gaming only)but I can't decide between the Benq xl2420g (1080p g-sync) and the Asus pg278q (1440p g-sync).
Is 1440p REALLY worth it?
Is there much difference between medium 1440p and high/ultra 1080p settings?
-MAIN QUESTION-
Would my single gtx 980 (reference one) be able to handle such resolution allowing me to play smooth image quality(thats why I'm choosing between g-sync monitors)?
If I'm going to buy a 700/800€ monitor, I'd prefer not to have to buy a second gpu
I know these are really common questions , but honestly I've never found good answers to them....
Thank you for your time and sorry for my bad english (I'm from Italy xd)
Have a nice day
