So the title is pretty self explanatory, but is the upgrade to 1440p from 1080p worth it? I've currently got an MSI 4GB gaming edition 970 in my system, and I'm like 99% decided that I'm going to SLI them. If I left this on 1080p, obviously I would be able to annihilate every single game that came across for like 10 years. Lol. While that is tempting, obviously technology keeps moving forward, so moving up to 1440p would be the next logical step. Is it really that different from 1080p? And is it worth the amount of money to upgrade to a new monitor? I've found some decent prices on monitors, around $400, which isn't bad, but if it's really not that much of an upgrade then why spend $400 if you don't have to??
Also, as an additional question, the case that I have is the Antec 900. Would this have sufficient enough cooling for 2 970s, or would I want a bigger case/one with more fans? If so, what case is recommended? Any thoughts/comments are greatly appreciated
