Question upgrade to 144hz monitor got drop fps

so rencetly i upgrade my monitor to 144hz and connect with DP. but the fps is droping compare to the old monitor in same resolution and same settings
example my fps in game league of legends. starting the match normaly i get 500fps and after the upgrade i got around 300. is this normal

and the new is: hkc nb27c2

ram 16gb buss 2400
asus gtx 1070 turbo
atec 450w
ssd 120gb and hdd 320gb
