Hello, how would i go about upgrading my pc to 4k gaming specs?
Intel core 15 2400 @3.1ghz socket 1155 lga
MB sabertooth z77
ddr3 16gb ram
amd radeon 7900 series 3072mb

I got this computer due to luck tbh, so i dont quite know what I've got but thats what cpu-z said, i think its in turbo mode in bios so it might be 3.8ghz(?) oc
i haven't really got enough money to get all the parts straight away so best to get ones first!

thank you!

Forget 4k. You wont be running AA titles on high settings with the fastest single graphics card - the 980ti. It can, however, run 1440p fluently.

Forget SLi, you dont want heaps of heat, power draw, noise to remove that heat, chances of glitching and microstutter. Pain free fluency is what you want, and that comes in the single fastest GPU.

Get a 980 or 980ti and a 27" or preferably 32" 1440p monitor. The samsung s32d850t or BenQ BL3200pt (same panel)

If you google that monitor , youll find early adopters complaining of flickering. That was back in 2014/early 2015 and has long since been fixed. Driver issues was the cause.
