Upgrade to 7950 from 7850

so my brother while be building a computer and i will (if you guys agree) sell him my asus 7850 and get a 7950 because i have seen good overclocking on it and to push games like crysis 3 better.

specs
x4 960t @ 4ghz (will be upgrading in the summer to 6300 or 8320)
8gb gskill ram
750 corsair psu

also 26 inch 1080p tv for monitor

I upgraded from a similar setup, I went from a gtx 480 to a MSI twin frozer 7950.

And I can tell you the difference for crysis 3 is very noticable, especially with a overclock of 1200 mhz on the core of the 7950.

I would say keep the 7850 for now and save up more money and get a next gen card when they come out.

is there any news on how much better the next gen will be and will the driver lag be worth it

Just do n't expect it to be a huge improvement in every game, like all high end cards it needs high end software to really test its mettle.
