Upgrade to 8.1 or upgrade SSD first

Thinking of doing both, both wonder which should I upgrade first? currently using windows 7 and a 256gb SSD

If you're currently on Win 7 and like it, there is little reason to spend money to change to 8.1 Wait until Win 10 is released, and upgrade for free.
