Upgrade to Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P worth it?

I have an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard, and I'm trying to upgrade it. Will getting a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P a decent upgrade? If not, please list some suggestions.

Depends on what CPU you put on it. For FX 6, the cost is not justified to performance, for FX 8, yes as UD3P OCs real well so it does add to performance. Also, I'd personally upgrade to nothing less than SLI capable board like 970 Gaming (it's amazing for OCing too). The 970 chipset tier list:
