upgrade to ryzen 2700x and system wont post even after bios update

upgraded to ryzen 7 2700x, wouldnt post, put old chip back in and upgraded BIOS, put 2700x back in and still wont post. tried diff ram slots and resetting cmos. everything turns on just no display. mobo is AB350 Pro4
