Ok then yes you'll benefit from the 7700K with the video editing.

Lately im uploading files on cloud gaming in the same time and have a tons of other programms in the background and i feel that this situation pushes the i5 to its limits..thats why i thought about the Ryzen

Maybe i underestimate my i5 i dont know man btw i have a gtx 970

Streaming while gaming will be better on the Ryzen platform for sure. Even updating your bios and upgrading to the 7700K will give you issues here and there. The 1600 or Intel 8xxx will be better for sure. I'm not sure it's totally worth it considering you need new everything, including ram. If you are streaming though you don't really have a choice I guess.

In my Country I7 7700k costs 290euro so ill try to sell the i5 for like 170euro and get the i7 .....but my biggest problem is the compatibility what i mean is only with update of BIOS the i7 will run perfectly without any issues? What do you say?

Why would he need new RAM? I upgraded from an i7-6700k to a Ryzen 7 1800X, and I changed only CPU and mb. It's true that Ryzen favors fast RAM, but it's not a must. I think both options have merit, getting a 7700k or a Ryzen 7. I would discard a Ryzen 5, with a good board it would be more expensive than the i7, with less single thread performance and only 50% more threads. Additionally, if you get a Ryen 7 1700, be prepared to overclock if you want gaming performance comparable to the i7.

Anyway, I agree with 4745454b and WildCard999

I have an i7 7700k @ 5.0ghz on an Asus Z170-A. (1.36v) Works great. Did the same exact upgrade from a 6600k.

Both the ryzen and 7700k would be better for heavy multitasking although for gaming alone i wouldn't bother. I'd use a program to monitor cpu activity (I like hwmonitor) and if your cpu is getting closed to max usage then look at upgrading.

Yea works great.

You'll need a new bios for the Z170 board. It *should* have an updated bios by now, but it's technically possible to get an original board with a bios that doesn't handle a 7 series CPU. Find a friend or take it to a shop is an option if that happens.
