upgrade to windows 7 with low specs?

I would like to upgrade from windows xp pro 32 bit to windows 7 32 bit. The reason i m asking you your opinion is because i have and old system with low specs and dont know if windows 7 will drain a lot of my resources for no reason.
Here are my components:
motherboard: P5Q SE
CPU: Intel Core Quad Q8200 @ 2.33Hz
GPU: Palit GTX650 (2048MB GDDR5)
Ram: 3 GB (3x1gb) DDR2 1066

Will i have a problem with windows 7 and 3 gb ram?

i think you should increase the ram just up for 1GB because most games recommend 4GB of ram when you using win 7

ok thankx. but 1 more question. Should i buy a same model ram or different ones stack?

yes, you should buy the same model because most companies which manufacturing RAMs recommend buy the same memory for all DIMMs
