Upgrade xeon mod l5420 to e5450

I already inject l5420 microcode to my bios of my motherboard, i will upgrade the cpu to e5450 later should i re inject the bios with e5450 microcode?

What do you think about the performance gained over changing from l5420 to e5450?

If you have applied the lastest microcode/bios update then motherboard is E5450 ready.

E5450 is the same as a Q9650 which is one of the Better LGA775 CPUs. With an ASUS P5K you should be able to get a nice overclock also.
