Hi gang- looking to upgrade my AMD Radeon HD 6450 card in my Dell x8300 i7 with 750 W power supply. What makes the most sense that would allow for dual monitors?

I am not looking for cutting edge. Very little gaming, looking more for utility, especially since I started working from home. Sharing space with home computer and work computer. Would like to use a KVM switch for dual monitor but my current video card does not support dual monitors.

KVM is for using single monitor with 2 PCs (not for using 2 monitors).

HD 6450 should support 2 monitor configuration just fine.
What's the make/model name of your card?

Thanks for your note. There are some KVM switches as far as I know that do support dual monitors. I could be wrong- still learning.

I just took a look at the outputs of my AMD Radeon HD 6450. Only one HDMI output. I guess I am looking for a card that has two HDMI outputs to start with. I think and card I buy will be an upgrade over the 6450.

Are there any other video outputs available on your card?
DVI? VGA?
If yes, then you can get HDMI output with simple DVI to HDMI adapter.
