Upgrade_Help for PQD5002

Hi guys,

I'm a complete novice when it comes to this sort of thing, so please forgive me in advance if i ask any obvious questions.

I want to upgrade my old Advent pqd5002 for 3d rendering with 3ds Max/V-ray. I also use Photoshop, illustrator and Autocad.

Although this is just a quick/temporary fix til i can afford a more High performance machine, im still willing to spend around £200-£300. Or should I use the money and buy a cheap (but higher spec) Dell or similar??
