I've had an old system with an i7-4th Gen, and an old MB, PC was loading at a moderate speed but would lag sometimes (rarely), so i decided to upgrade my system to Ryzen 3600x and ASrock B450M MB, together with 16gb of Ram, but once i got this upgrade the computer started lagging very very badly (alot worse than my 4th gen), after doing some research, I read somewhere that Intel and Ryzen for windows were incompatible so i had to do a fresh install- This was when i noticed I could not access the boot menu nor BIOS (fast boot is off). Eventually I managed to do a fresh install through a windows image from windows itself. Afterwhich the problem still persists and I'm still unable to accsess my BIOS or boot menu ( just goes from a black screen to login page ), I was wondering if this is a MB issue?

Sounds like a bios issue like fast boot actually being enabled or you monitor just not turning on in time. Might just need to reset cmos.

Check your motherboard manual. There's usually a jumper that you switch for a minute or 2. Also you can usually pull the battery out of the motherboard for about 10-15 minutes. Just be sure the computer isn't plugged in when you do either one of these.
