Upgraded CPU and motherboard Computer running slower Intel i9 9900k please help

Hey I'm stumped.

Just upgraded to an i9 9900k and ASUS ROG Strix Z930 Motherboard.
- Corsair Vengance LPX 16GB x2
- Corsair H60 Cooler
- GTX 960
- 850 Watt psu

The whole system is slower than when I was running the previous CPU (I7 2600k)

Task bar is laggy, When I type something into Chrome or the task bar there is about a 1.5 second delay between each key stroke.

I've updated all drivers that I can find.

Mem Usage @ 13%
CPU Usage 4.95 GHZ @ 9% all overclock settings in bios set to auto

Did you reinstall Windows after the upgrade? If not you need to start there first.
