Question Upgraded CPU and now I can use only one stick of RAM ?

Hi All,



I replaced my AMD Ryzen 2700X with a 5800X and now I can only reach Windows desktop with 1 of my 2 memory sticks installed ?

It doesn't matter which slot, as long as only 1 slot is populated it will boot. But if I have both RAM slots populated, will not post and gets stuck on Debug Code "0d" but there is no description on what that debug code means in the Mobo handbook.

When I check AMD website, it says my memory sticks are all compatible for the CPU.
The BIOS version is F63c, the most up to date one there is. I updated to that before swapping CPUs.

MOBO is: x470 Aurus Gaming 7 Wifi
CPU: AMD Ryzan 7 5800x
RAM: TridentZ neo DDR4 F4-3600C14D

Pull the cpu back out and check for bent pins, if ok reinstall, clean and reapply new thermal paste.

What cooler do you have? make sure there is even pressure on the mount.

Have you tried switching the the backup bios to see if it will boot?
