Hello.I upgraded cpu : i5 4690 and ram : Hyperx Savage Red 8GB 1600mhz cl9 and it randomly freezes my pc , restarts on its own .
Old build :
Motherboard : h81m-vg4
CPU:i3 4130 3.4 Ghz
RAM : 8gb of crucial 1600mhz
HDD:1TB .
GPU : palit gtx 750 ti oc storm dual x
IDK what to do , i was so hyped over these new upgrades.
P.S.: the cpu came with its stock cooler which had already put the thermal thingy on it so i installed it exactly like that. The temps in benchmarks didn`t exceed 60 degrees.

Solution
Updating bios basically should fix any compatibility issues with newer cpus and vgas but I don't see newer bios than what you already have. Though intel management engine drivers are worth taking a look at if you haven't already installed them:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81M-VG4/?cat=Download&os=Win1064
The compatibility list:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81M-VG4/?cat=CPU
does list support for your new cpu from bios 1.3 and up.
The memory compatibility list doesn't list your memory:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81M-VG4/?cat=Memory
which may be making things worse but can't be the only issue if it happens with old memory as well.
PSU could have been slowly going and getting newer stuff may have pushed it into too much to...
If you did two major swaps and the system is now unstable, it is logical to drop down to one stick of RAM in required slot, or, go back to old RAM known to function while troubleshooting...; just because RAM is new does not make it 'known good', or, make it known to fucntion with those memory timings on your board with some unknown memory voltage, or, for that matter, memory speed was not discussed, only rating of memory?

PSU could have been slowly going and getting newer stuff may have pushed it into too much to handle territory. Don't know, if you got another computer with a hefty psu, you might want to swap the other one into your computer to see if the issues go away.
Otherwise, if you've changed components I would advise you to try resetting your bios first, (taking out cmos battery or reset to default from within bios), and also to try getting your windows install cd (assuming you didn't change your windows during the upgrade at all), running it from boot and using the repair utility to fix any issues there might have cropped up due to hardware swap.
