Question Upgraded CPU, now pc won't work

I bought a brand new 5700x to replace my 3600, but when I swapped in the new one, my PC would turn on but not display to my monitor.

I realized I forgot to update the BIOS, so I swapped the old one back in, but now that one is having the same issue.

I was very careful when handling bother of the chips, and there were no bent pins on either.

I don't know what the issue is, any help is appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply, full spec:
MSI B550a-pro motherboard
EVGA 3060 12gb
4×8gb Corsair vengeance 3200 ram
650w Corsair sliver rated psu
M.2 512gb boot drive
2×1tb wd blue ssd's
EVGA 280×140 AIO

I ended up taking it to a guy, he got it working with the Ryzen 3600 again, but not with the new 5700x

After putting the old cpu back in did you try clearing CMOS?

No, I didnt. I ended up leaving it with the repair guy after he got it working with the 3600 again. I brought it to him near then end of the day, so he said he wanted to give it a try tomorrow too.
