I have this foxconn g41mxe, it had come with an e5700, so I upgraded it to q9650, and it won't POST. All fans running, and no beep. Specs:
Old CPU: Pentium Dual Core E5700
New CPU: Core 2 Quad Q9650
Mobo: Foxconn G41MXE
Ram: 8 GB Samsung 1333 MHz dual channel (DDR3)
GPU: Zotac GTX 1050 ti Mini
HDD: 500 GB WD Caviar Blue + 320 GB Seagate Drive
Power Supply: 450 W Zebronics PAY
The PC was working fine before.
I think I have Cleared the CMOS but I'm not sure I did it the correct way. Can anyone tell me how to get my pc working and clear the CMOS?
Thanks in advance!

The user's manual -- http://www.foxconnchannel.com/driverdownload/Motherboard/Intel/Socket775/G41MXE/Manual/English/G41MXE%20Series-EN-V1.0.zip has the BIOS display on page 20. I think the version number is displayed on the bottom.

Foxconn has a windows tool "FOX LiveUpdate that is supposed to handle BIOS updates, but it isn't a Windows 10 application so I wouldn't trust it. You will have to go "old school" and create a DOS bootable flash drive -- https://www.geforce.co.uk/whats-new/guides/how-to-update-your-motherboard-bios-using-a-simple-usb-stick

Thanks, kanewolf! With your idea, I upgraded to P10 and placed the processor on. Working fine. And for anyone who was wondering, if ram is coming like "8.00 GB (3.5 GB usable)", update your BIOS.

Okay, it worked for some time and then stopped working. It seems to work when I used it as a testbench (loosely keeping the heatsink above the fan). When I confirmed everything was working, I plugged in the heatsink with screws on. From then it stopped booting. Please help. Just to get the testbench working, I spent 6 hours. Please!
