Recently, I upgraded my computer's processor from an A4-5300k (with Radeon HD 7480 iGPU) to an A10 6800k (with Radeon HD 8670 iGPU). My new processor works fine, and Catalyst Control Center acknowledges that my GPU is now a Radeon HD 8670. However, the memory size, type, bandwidth (etc.) are all still that of my old Radeon 7480. According to AMD, these should have greatly improved:

Why does it seem to think I'm still using my old GPU? What can I do?

Try this, it might work.
First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.

Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

Tried that, didn't work.
