Upgraded MB, CPU & RAM - Now only black screen, fans are running

Hello! I have built many computers before but this one has me beat.

I just finished upgrading my computer with an Asus ROG Strix Z-390-F, new CPU i5 9600k 3,7 ghz, and new DDR4 RAM 16gb 3000mhz. I have 750W PSU, 2 ssd and one hdd along with a two year old Asus GPU from my previous build. I also bought new cpu cooler to fit the 1151 socket.

When I turn on the power switch, I can hear everything start, I hear the harddrives, the GPU and CPU fans start spin, and the led light on the GPU is on.Also my three chassis fans are spinning.
On the mobo none of the led lights that indicate any faulty components are lit, there are four different led lights that would lit up depending on hardeare. The Strix logo on the mobo is lit however and shift in rainbow colours.

I have rebuilt this one several times, tried one RAM in each slot (it actually makes no difference if I have a RAM slotted or not, its the same). I have put new thermal on the cpu. Retightened every screw. I dont hear any beeps but there are no internal speakers.

I took out the CPU again and made sure no paste was behind it or on the side of the mobo.
I took out the mobo battery and waited 15 sec.
I installed an older PSU and I get the same result - everything "boots" but black screen.
I tried the display port, HDMI and DVI connections between my monintor and both my mobo and my GPU. Even tried remove the GPU entierly and only had mobo+RAM+CPU+fans powered up. I also tried another monitor.

My conclusion is that the fault is either mobo, ram or the cpu and unfortuanley I cannot test my other components because none of the are compatible. Only mobo is 1150 socket I think and the ram is DDR3.

I havent tested to remove the mobo and try to boot without the case, I will do that later when I get home, some of the screws are not 100% tightenable(english?) because I have used them so much.

What have I missed? :(

Thanks for reading it all and I am looking forward for your reply!

Best regards,
Andreas

Thanks for the reply but I have tried two different monitors with HDMI, DP and DVI connections both through the GPU and the onboard connection, there is no signal found.

Thanks Calvin for the reply!

I purchased the "Be quiet! Pure Rock" cooler for this CPU. It fits and should support the 1151 socket. https://www.inet.se/produkt/6308873/be-quiet-pure-rock?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIg9vinMX63wIVAqaaCh29cQelEAQYAiABEgJw2_D_BwE

I found the case speaker it came with the motherboard but couldent get it to work properly, I will doubblecheck the connection again when I get home in about one hour. I know the speaker pins are next to the front panel pins and I put it on the only place it would fit but I could not hear anything. But I dident consult the manual before putting it there I just assumed it would go where it would fit.

I wouldn't assume a buzzer/speaker not plugged right would prevent a system from booting properly then again if you have a working one it would tell you whether a system boots and beeps or not and will give you further clues.

Since you said you didn't check the manual and assumed it should go where it'd fit you might have not plugged it properly.

According to the manual on mnufacturer's page it should go here. Observe the polarity, that is the positive side of the header connector must go in the +5V pin.

make sure your power plugs are connected properly, 24pin ATX (on right side near ram) and 8pin EPS (top left corner)
if speaker is connected properly, without RAM u should hear 3 long beeps
if u hear nothing (and ure 100% sure speaker is connected right and power plugs are OK), then ure stuck before bootblock (SEC phase), in this case there are no beeps, CPU/mobo will need to be replaced, theres no telling which one of those without debug card as your mobo doesnt have it integrated

edit: on a side note, what is your bios version? there should be sticker on mobo with bios version written on it

I have stripped the mobo off everything its laying on the table on this plastic bag it came with and it still acts the same. Only PSU and screen is connected, not even CPU and still nothing. I guess it's broken. I'll have to leave it at a proffessional they might be able to identify if its broken... Not sure there is a warranty on this thing as I tried it install it myself.

I find it intresting that the 4 lights doesent show anything. It's supposed to help with troubleshooting. The four lights are POST, VGA, DRAM and CPU and only the logo is lit and fans are running thats about it. Note Ive tried two different PSUs. Yes I have pluged both 24 and the 8 pin power connections. :(

I noticed on the CPU slot some pins looked bent? Are they supposed to be like that? Looks like they all should align with the same distance. I got nothing to loose I'll bring some toothpicks and try move them.
