Upgraded My Computer to make it shut down

I've recently upgraded my computer.I added in a 2GB RAM,change my graphic card from ATI Radeon X600 to Nvidia Geforcec 9800 GT and change my PSU to 500 WATTS.

But everytime i play games like team fortress 2 or counter strike source after i play maybe for like 20mins the monitor will change from green to orange(off) keyboard not lighted up and mouse will be off too.Its fine if i play warcraft 3.

AND ANOTHER THING the CPU light is on.Im using a dell dimension 9150 could someone help please here are my specifications

Have you considered that the PCI-E 1.0 x 16 port may be bottle necking the GPU. I was thinking of getting the 9800 gts and installing it in my system with a PCI-E x 16 slot but, I am hesitant because it may not be worth installing because of what I just mentioned. That may or may not be the problem, if you figure your problem out, I would like to know as well.
