Upgraded my pc for 2300$ but my pc is slow and "laggy" on games and sometimes on the desktop.

So yeah, as the title say. My pc is slow after 30 minuts of playing but the temprature of the hardware in my pc does not go over 60c. i have been lokking around on the internet for a few days and tried alot of different things but nothing seems to work.
I have installed all the drivers i need for the mother board and the videocards,
i have also formated and instaled windows again.

My specs:
X-99 Deluxe motherboard
x2 Geforce gtx 970 with SLI
Intel core i7 5930k
CX750M Powersupply

What about a bios update? Do you have the latest version?

Maybe search for malware. Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro are good programs. I'm sure you will get some additional suggestions. I see now that you reinstalled Windows- probably not malware then.

Just updated my bios, no change. On CS-GO i have over 100 fps and sometimes its about 20-30 fps, some times it goes back to 100 if not i have to restart the game. I should also add that firefox is lagging when i open new sites and sometimes youtube videos. Sorry for the slow reply.
