So I recently upgraded my pc by a lot, new specs and everything, but I thought it would make a huge difference with fps and stuff like that, but apparently fps is almost the same in csgo, wow etc. On my old pc I had 150-200 fps in csgo, on this computer I have 200-300, old pc used to lag a lot, lagspikes, it would take a long time to load loading screens. To be clear this pc doesn't lag at all, I'm just curious if there's something wrong with my new specs or something or if its normal, I expected my fps to be a lot higher tbh.

Can you let us know what components you had / have ? Do you use different settings or resolution? Are your drivers up to date?
Loading times are influenced by HDD/SSD reading speed. Having an SSD is better. CS is a processor heavy game, high single core performance is beneficial.

old pc specs was:
amd fx6350
asus m5a97 r2.0
same graphic card which is a asus 1060 3gb
Corsair 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 CL9 1600Mhz VENGEANCE

new specs are: amd ryzen 1600x
MSI B360 GAMING PLUS
again, same graphic card
power supply: fractal design effekt 700W, old was 550 watt or something
new fan: masterair ma610p
Corsair 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL18 Vengeance

There may be no single core performance issues. Cooling is good... you can check your BIOS settings. Maybe some boost setting stuck disabled. Get the latest BIOS and look into it:

the thing is that i got lagspikes all the time before when I played csgo, and now I don't so I guess it should be fine, but I always worry about my fps, but at this point I think I should get alot more than 250-300

Ryzen is more for multicore use, it will not shine in CS. Things you might check: Do you have multicore rendering enabled? Are you running your memory on full speed?
