So i just swapped out a 500w power supply with a 600w power supply (Evga 600 80+) and after completing the replacement as soon as I flipped the switch on the power-supply the whole computer turns on? fans, lights etc.? and the power button on the case won’t let me turn it off.. could I have made a mistake with the wires?

specs:
GPU: XFX rx 570 8gb
CPU: AMD ryzen 5 2600
Motherboard: Tomahawk B450
Ram: Corshair Vegeance 2x8gb
PS: Evga 600w 80+

Solution
Tried to reconnect the power cables? make sure they are plugged well in.

Might be faulty psu as well,so can choose to rma. Might be good to get something better quality, but maybe budget prohibits.

Does it actually turn on and boot up or is it just powering on and sitting there?

Also, the EVGA W1 is a very poor power supply.

yes, when i flip the power supply switch the whole pc boots up with fans spinning, LEDs etc (however no display). Also I did hear about the reputation of the W1 series but i guess I didn’t take it too serious. I may try to switch back to the previous PSU to see if the problem continues
