So I had a rly crappy motherboard along with a low end amd processor, I had a gigabyte motherboard, along with g skill ddr3 ram, and evga power supply, and a harddrive, so I got a b450m steel legend mother board along with a amd ryzen 5 2600, and it’s all installed, and yes I’m now aware that ddr3 isn’t compatible with steel legend motherboard, anyway I turn my pc on, fans run fine, motherboard lights up, everything seems fine, but then my pc will run for a minutes turn off for like three seconds then repeat the process, and I don’t think my cpu is overheating because I felt the back of my case and it’s not even close to warm, I’m not sure if all my cables are in check either, what do you think is happening? Also my monitor says no signal.

PCPartPicker isn't always correct.

Best thing to do is tell us exactly what parts you have.
Okay I gave crappy information, my pc wont work with out at least one stick of ram correct? I’m going to Best Buy to get ddr4 tommorow. But is the reason it was shutting off by itself due to no ram in the pc?
