Upgraded PC and Monitor won’t find input.

FIXED:

I upgraded my pc to more modern hardware for the first time of my life. (CPU, motherboard, and RAM) I followed the instructions that came with my motherboard, and now my monitor can’t find the input.

I learned that any one of the things I upgraded could be the issue and I’m just in an annoying situation here.

Old PC Specs:

FX 4300
Gtx 1060 3gb
Ga78lmt s2
WD Blue HDD 1TB
2x4 1300mhz DDR3 RAM

New Specs:
Ryzen 5 2600
Gtx 1060 3gb
Gigabyte b450 Aorus M
WD Blue HDD 1TB
2x4 2666 Hyper X Furry DDR4 RAM

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this situation?

Maybe if someone could link a picture of what my board properly hooked up would look like?

Your CPU doesn't have a iGPU so the monitor needs to be connected to the GTX 1060 3gb.

Does anything turn on? Are the case/GPU/CPU fans working?

Did you plug the display cable on the motherboard? Because you're supposed to plug it directly on the GPU.

Well, safe to say I just embarrassed myself.

Turned my PC off... waited 10 seconds... turned it on.
And it worked.
