Upgraded PC From 4gb ddr3 memory to 8gb ddr3 But Games Still Run At Exact same FPS

I Upgraded my ram to like 8gb ram ddr3... Garry's Mod was like 30 fps when it was 4gb ram ddr3... But it's still at 30fps when I Upgraded it to 8gb ddr3 memory... its still damn slow .. And 30fps Was still active when i was playing with 4gb ddr3

Not all games are optimized to use more than 3.5GB of RAM. Also the limited framerate has more to do with your CPU/GPU power than the RAM. What are your other specs?

Well RAM won't change your fps.

1. GPU
2. CPU

Really nothing else matters. You only need to have enough RAM to run the game.

A more accurate way to phrase that in most cases would be: "not all games are bloated to the point of requiring more than 3.5GB RAM."

For open-world games though, having extra RAM to cache terrain and other data helps a lot with reducing loading stutter. For example, flying around in WoW is considerably more pleasant with 8GB RAM.

Well I'm Just gonna say that In Steam The Minimum Requirements was 1 gb GPU And 2 gb ram.. The Maximum was 8gb ram with 2gb GPU... I EXACTLY Have that.... Well IDK Anymore..
