I have just upgraded from a single 4GB of DDR4 Ripjaws RAM to two 4GB sticks of DDR4 evixir RAM. For whatever reason, my computer won't even open a lot of programs now and is extremely slow. My computer recognizes the 8gb's of ram and it's set to 2133MHz so I don't do what could be the problem. Help is much appreciated! I'm running Windows 10 64 bit with an i3 6100

First things first. Take out the new memory, put back the old memory, and try the system. If it's still slow, there's a different problem!
If it works as expected, try one stick of the new RAM in the same slot that the old RAM was in and see if the system works. Then try the other stick in the same slot. If one works fine and the other does not, you may have a bad RAM stick.
Also, what motherboard do you have and what slots are you putting the new RAM in?
