[SOLVED] Upgraded system fails to connect to the internet ?

I recently upgraded my computer system with a new cpu, motherboard, and gpu. My previous motherboard did not have a WiFi card built in so i used a usb adapter. However my new motherboard does but it just doesnt work, it fails to find any networks. I've tried to update bios, reinstall the drivers from both the MSI website and Intel website, update windows, uninstall and reboot. Nothing has worked so for now I'm using the usb adapter. I also attached a screenshot of the network devices listed in Device Manager.

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU: Intel I-5 12600k
Motherboard: MSI MAG B760 Tomahawk WIFI DDR4
GPU: RTX 4060

Have you installed, what is it called again? direct play? vcredist? Some of my network hardware required that as I do recall.

Yes, downloading and installing directly from MSI's website for my motherboard.

Have you installed, what is it called again? direct play? vcredist? Some of my network hardware required that as I do recall.

I have no clue what either of those are. The ones with the exclamation point are the network drivers for the motherboard, which do not find any source of internet.

Search the internet for those downloads of Direct play and vcredist... some of these required system drivers or components should install automatically when you install network device drivers, far as I know direct play is a part of windows OS but only gets installed when it's required, say like in your instance to get your connection online.

Don't bother with the network interfaces that you don't want to use just focus on the one you intend to utilize, that should get you online. ( they should install their drivers if you look for them on the motherboard manufacture page's download section).

Im not sure how to close this thread, as i have found and fixed the issue. Turns out it was old vmware registery still being installed causing the issue for windows to load the drivers. Once i removed it, worked like a charm.
