Question Upgraded to a bigger PSU and now PC won't even power on

So I upgraded from a 750w EVGA 750bq to a 1000w Corsair rm1000x but now when I hook it up exactly like the old one my PC will like flick on for a split second and not actually turn on.
PC specs are a i9 9900k on an asrock z370 killer Mobo a 1080ti founders edition gpu 2x16gb 3000mhz ram a 500gb SSD and 1tb hdd CPU is water-cooled. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is it possible to be DOA (death on arrival)?
Can you power you pc with you old PSU?

I hope you didn't reuse EVGA's cables on Corsair PSU did you ?
