Kingston fury beast rgb ddr5 2x16gb, (Exact part number is on the motherboard DRAM compatibility list)
PSU EVGA Supernova platinum P2 650w
Deepcool AK620 cooler

As soon as i power up, the CPU red light and DRAM orange light turns on and there's no POST.

- I made sure i plugged ATX 24-pin and both CPU 8-pin. (Unplugged and plugged tham back 2 times)
- Tested PSU voltage on each pin with multimeter, everything checks out
- Inspected socket for bent pins. Everything looks okay.
- Inspected back of motherboard for damage. I see none
- Made sure the only the required brass standoff were installed (since i changed from ATX to M-ATX)
- Reseated CPU
- Tried both stick of RAM individually in each slot. Made sure they were inserted all the way and that both side clicked.
- Reset CMOS by removing the battery for 5 minutes. Also checked battery voltage.
- Updated BIOS to lastest version with flash drive.
- Tightened and losened heatsink screw to test different amount of pressure

Is there anything else i can try for troubleshooting ? Just note that i cannot try those parts in another computer since nobody i know uses either AM5 or DDR-5.

Else, would you think one part is defective ? If it is, which one is more likely ? I bought the parts from Amazon, so returning a defective item is no big deal. However, i don't think they would like me sending back a perfectly working item...

Of course it would only be a guess, but statistically a bad motherboard happens much more than a DOA cpu. If I had to choose what to send back it would be the motherboard. You could bring your cpu to a local computer fix it store to have your cpu tested to rule that out.

Thanks, decided to drive to the nearest computer part shop. Turns out both motherboard AND cpu were defective. They suggested i go buy a lottery ticket right away since the odds of receiving both DoA at the same time were like 1 out of 100,000.
