I just today replaced my pentium g4560 with an i3-7350k, and the desktop performance was slower than normal. I assumed this was just my computer getting used to a new cpu and didn't worry about it. An hour later, I tried to play Garry's Mod, but once in a game, I was averaging 3 fps and the max was 10 fps, using the steam fps counter. I am really confused as to what is happening and I need help. Us

EDIT: Gtx 1050 ti, 8gb ddr4 2400mhz ram, 1tb HDD, 500W PSU, B250M PRO-VD.

Minimum 84 degrees F, max 104 degrees F. Min 29 celsius, max 40 celsius. Only things running are CPU-Z, HWMonitor, and file explorer.

I haven't. When I went from an fx-4300 to a g4560, I didn't need to reinstall. I think I'll try that.

Anytime you change motherboards you should reinstall your OS.

Oddly enough, after a few hours, the computer fans suddenly got louder and my frame rate became normal again, so it just fixed itself. Thanks for all the help everyone.
