Question Upgraded to better CPU but turns out to be slower

Recently upgraded my g6230 to i5 4690 3.50ghz (2nd hand) but its way slower. Help pls..

Mobo: H81M-A
GPU: RX570 4gb
Ram: 8Gb
Windows 10

What bios are you running, the 4690 needs a certain bios for that motherboard, 2203 https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/H81MA/HelpDesk_CPU/

Are all four cores showing up in Task Manager? Do CPU clocks and CPU usage across all cores appear to be behaving as expected under load? Are temperatures at a sane level (60-80C) under load?
