I upgraded from a i5 6600k to a i7 7700k before i did that . i had my cpu i5 OC to 4.2hz. before installing new cpu i put it back in the bios to default which is 3.5hz.

Installed new cpu (i7) put a rice size of thermal paste put the cpu cooler back on everything is nice until i turn it on every single fans in my pc runs GPU fans ,case fans front and back runs and the cpu fans aswell the cpu cooler fan runs too but i get no display...both of my monitors stay black with the No signal so what i did next is....

Unplugged gpu power cable removed the gpu put it back on .... nothing

Removed CMOS battery nothing still no display

Cleared CMOS with jumpers still no display

So after all of this bs I decided to put back my i5 6600k and boom same problem no display in both monitors

Can someone help me before i kill myself

BIOS at this point doesn't matter since he has the same issue now.

The most likely scenario is you bent at least one of the Intel socket pins.

Remove the i5, then look very closely at the socket. If bent, you can bend back if very careful. Not sure about THIS socket, but in the past I used a credit card and lined it up between two rows to gently nudge the pin, then switched to the two rows at 90 degrees and so on.

*the point of the credit card is so the other pins prevent pushing the bent pin too far and damaging it

Did you forget to update your bios before installing the 7700k? Bend any pins swapping CPU's?
