Question Upgraded to RTX 2060 and not getting close to expected FPS

I just upgraded my pc from a gtx 970 to an RTX 2060 and it's running basically the same in every game I play. Fortnite on everything low runs 120-140 fps in a 5 person creative and modern warfare is barely playable. I get a lot FPS for no reason I'm starting to think i got a virus or something lol. My CPU is a i7-6700k not the best but it shouldn't be doing this bad. Also ive had this computer for like 5+ years that may also be a reason my parts are worn out maybe?

https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/26488206 which has everything on my computer. I ran Malwarebytes adwcleaner all that stuff and it found nothing I also reset my computer recently and it's still running slow

the temp of the cpu is like 35-45c

only 1 stick of 8GB ram.
cpu is getting old.
only a hdd
and what the model of the psu?

did you check cpu/gpu usage during the game?
